  • 2 cans black beans
    Canned and Jarred
  • 1 packet of chili mix
    Spices and Seasonings
  • Pinch cinnamon

  • 1 pound of ground beef, browned

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
    Spices and Seasonings
  • ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
    Spices and Seasonings
  • 1 Bag of Success White Rice
    Pasta and Rice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
    Spices and Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons sliced scallions

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
    Milk, Eggs, Other Dairy

Steps

  • Heat the turmeric, cumin, and cinnamon over low heat until fragrant, stirring, about 30 seconds.
  • Add water, butter, salt and bag of rice to the mixture. Cook until rice is done.When rice is finished, fluff with a fork and add scallions.In separate pan, add chili mix, black beans and rice to the browned ground beef.
